For a long time, I thought bridges existed to help us cross rivers.
Life taught me something different.
Some bridges are invisible.
We only recognize them after we have crossed.
Looking back, I can see many such bridges in my own life.
A decision that seemed impossible until the day it became inevitable.
A farewell that felt like an ending until it quietly became a beginning.
A conversation that lasted only a few minutes yet changed the way I understood someone.
While living those moments, I rarely noticed the bridge beneath my feet.
I simply kept walking.
Only later did I realize I was no longer where I had been.
Perhaps this is what life does so gently.
It does not always ask us to leap.
Sometimes it simply places a bridge before us.
One step.
Then another.
And without realizing it, we arrive on the other side—not because the world has changed, but because we have.
When I now see a bridge, I no longer think only of the place it connects.
I also think of the person who steps onto it… and the one who steps off.
They are not always the same.
Perhaps every farewell is one of those bridges.
And perhaps every bridge, however small, is quietly leading us…
until our next Welcome to Life.
